It not only prevents your family from the stress of making your funeral arrangements after you die, but it can also be a wise move financially. You don’t have to pay ahead of time; in fact, that may not even be the best choice. But if you plan your purchases ahead of time, it can save a significant amount of money. How? Well, first of all, when you preplan your funeral arrangements, you have the time to look around and compare prices. There aren’t any standard prices for funeral services; prices vary from one funeral home to another, and funeral homes are required by law to give you pricing lists of the items and services they offer.
